ヴェルディサポになったきっかけは？
I moved to Osaka in 2024 for work, and when the J.League started, I had time to kill so I randomly went to a match. The second game I saw was Verdy at Cerezo. I knew nothing about J.League or Japanese football back then. On the way, I barely saw anyone in green and thought, “Am I the only away fan today?” But turns out like 600 people showed up. The chants gave me chills, so intense.
It was freezing that day, raining with snow, and we lost. But the fans kept supporting the team calmly. (Though I think someone up front argued with a player during the post-match.)
Honestly, until April 25 this year, I liked Verdy’s fans more than the team. I’ve seen pretty much every away crowd in Osaka, and I still think Verdy fans are the best. I kept watching for over a year, and this season, when we played Cerezo at home, I finally found a player I really like. Totally changed my whole mindset.
